As always Robe delivered us some great tracks, dunes and beachs to pratice our sand driving skills and recoveries. Another great trip away over the cup week end with 12 vechiles atending.
Three members have just completed an epic trip up North, 12000 klms over 2 months.
Going into lock down has affected us all, including the club.
Club members managed to get away on the now what seems a regular trip to the high country. It was nice to catch up with every one beside the fireside and hit the tracks.
A lucky few members armed with Border entry passes for SA NT and WA left Victoria in May just before another lock down and made it across to WA. Travelling to Alice Springs along the Tanami Track across to Broome and Derby then along the Gibb river road up to Mitchel falls and Kununara. More entry passes to return back into Victoria just in time for another lock down, well timed trip I say.
Queens birthday week end and with restrictions eased members headed off to the dunes and sandy tracks of the little desert. A great trip away.
Covid – 19 really throwing things around during 2020 but members of the club did get away for a pleasant trip in the High Country.
The club had a nice easy run at Mt Disappointment, so easy tracks and a good fun get together.
