Lots of vehicles attended the annual Christmas trip. This time the venue was Running Creek Camping Reserve on the Howqua River between Macs Cove and Jamieson. This was a base camp with some members arriving on the Friday, others coming on Saturday. The crew went for a drive around the area on the Saturday, followed by a spit roast in the evening, which was provided by the club.

Another weekend exploring the great tracks we have in our back yard. We were joined by a couple of visitors in Cloe (Ranger) and Mark (Navara). Some good technical tracks in the area.
A few members spent the AFL Grand Final Eve public holiday running a short day trip around the local tracks at Tallarook. A notable inclusion was Georgia testing out her new Jeep!
Hardly any snow about on Mt Skene. Headed towards Walhalla, camped the night at a hut. Some young hooligans being disrespectful to the campsite grounds and others enjoying the area, which was disappointing. The next day went down one spec track and found a little Kia which had gone for a swim. Found some good tracks.
Paul D lead this big 6-week trip across to the opposite side of the country. They started with 5 vehicles, finished with three. Lee’s patrol only made it as far as Ceduna when gearbox problems meant it couldn’t continue. Luckily there were enough seats for him to ride with others in the group.
Had a good turn out of 6 vehicles for the afternoon drive. Basically followed the same track taken as last year – all attendees except Scott hadn’t done the track before. Creek was lower compared to last year, apparently.
Left Broadford, met a few others at Porepunkah, and a few others at Ensay. Plenty of rain, which saw some leave after the heavy weather. Ten cars on the trip all up. Went to Mt Seldom Seen. Camped …

A great weekend. This was a last minute trip that was organised due to a large snow dump on the Friday leading up to the weekend. Snow greeted us down to 700m, which kept us on the white stuff for 80% of the weekend. Sunday provided sunshine which help make for some fun time in the snow. As can be seen in the video, it was a great trip.
The club was invited to the Moonambel Muster again for the Queens Birthday long weekend. Everyone braved the very cold conditions and achieved some good 4wding.
